My Role: Design of Festival Identity & Print Materials

The inaugural Robert Boyle Science Festival, opened by Sean Sherlock, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Jobs, Innovation and Department of Education & Skills, was held in Lismore 18th-20th November 2011, It is an initiative of Lismore Heritage Company and additional partners, to have a yearly gathering for both the local and scientific communities offering a menu of scientific lectures, social events and family activities to enjoy over the course of a festival weekend.

The identity design links both his birthplace Lismore Castle, his work in early alchemy and connection to The Royle Society of Chemistry as one of its founding members. The painting of Boyle by Keresboom was reproduced by permission of Chatsworth Settlement Trustees.
