My Role: Design of Cover art
I think at 17 we have all wondered what in the world goes on in the heads of our elders and their peers to make them seem so alien to us. Their petty jealousies, gossiping, pre-occupation with their own self importance and what group/club/society you should be seen to be a part of, seems to occupy their lives. Not to mention that they have NO idea what life is REALLY like and can only see/hear/talk about what directly effects them. At 17, you make secret vows never to turn out like that. But then what are they thinking when they look at us?
This song by Marc O'Reilly is about small town narrow mindedness but resolves with the protaganist coming to terms with how, although everyone is different, they are not indeed perfect.
